Two bays and a Bee Centre.
The bays are multichrome jewels that sparkle and cannot be taken. The Bee Centre is a delight of humanity and ingenuity.
Between these landmarks lies the route of PoE14b.
It is a short route with an excess of reflective time. Few can resist a moment's pause to watch the tide lapping the enclosed shore of Lundy Hole. On a warm spring day the coconut smell of gorse intoxicates the climb from Epphaven. Ruminates populate surrounding fields, heather litters the landscape, the tides ebb and flow twice daily.
How many thoughts can a human being have in the ninety minutes it takes to walk this loop? How many distractions will divert the walker from the distraction of daily life? What will you learn about yourself at Epphaven?
Ask a bee!

Reflections at Porteath
The Bee Centre is sited on the little known hamlet of Porteath (pronounced Porteth). Porteath is often confused with Portreath (pronounced Portreeth) which is sited much further west - near Hayle - on the north coast. I am told that this confusion is so acute that on occasions orders intended for Porteath Bee Centre find their way to the wrong apiary.
