PoE12b starts in the quaint fishing port of Port Gaverne.

Follow the valley inland through often muddy or overgrown woodland to a clearing and a stream. Rise over lush green fields to the yard of Treore Farm.

Travel on tarmac to Lower Hendra and head for the coast. This is rolling farmland with fantastic views over long stretches of field. A line of trees in the middle ground adds unusual interest of its own.

On reaching the coastal path the route turns west and drops treacherously to a valley floor before rising with slightly less incline than its neighbouring side.

Fulmar favour the coast from here to Port Gaverne. They are cute looking gulls with stub noses.

This is a varied stretch of coastal path that leads direct to Port Gaverne.
