This is a wild and varied eight that is nonetheless physically undemanding.
Clefts, such as Warren Gutter, in the landscape are impressive enough to humble the bipedal mortal with their sheer presence. In contrast the peak of Bucket Hill tends to access a sense of victorious power.
Chaotically angled cliffs, gnarled deciduous woodland, clumps of yew tree and a beach of pebbles provide a kaleidoscope of atmosphere that is characteristic of PoE3.
People enjoy walking for many reasons - not all of them obvious. This eight has variety in its landscape, in its mood and its atmosphere. The various changes in pace are subtle - the rise to Warren Point strains the knee, Duckpool Beach washes the soul with each incoming wave, the smell of pine in Coombe Valley casts its own magic.
