thewrightline (words section) has arranged some words into short stories and some into haiku.
Haiku are a great exercise in words - a sort of suduko for the innumerate. And haiku are a way of connecting with the object of the words. They are contemplation.

People have told each other stories throughout time, initially by word of mouth. The short story in printed form became popular in the late 19th century and now some people are publishing short stories on the world wide web.
thewrightline falls into this latest category.

Pieces of Eight are unique walk routes linking the South West Coast Path (SWCP) in a series of loops from south west Devon to Newquay. These circular walks are split into 20 figure of eight walks of between 6 and 12 miles, or 40 loops of between 1 and 7 miles. The walks total about 200 miles including around 70 miles of swcp.
